Terms & Conditions

At Buddy & Ted we like to keep things simple, including our Terms & Conditions. Please read the below before booking your place.


  • Our retreats are offered to ladies only due to our accommodation being offered on a shared basis

  • Our prices are based on single sex shared occupancy. By booking a single place you understand that you will be sharing with another guest. If you would prefer to book a room for single occupancy then please contact us to check availability. 

  • We strive to be as inclusive as possible and select our retreat locations with this in mind. Please see the individual retreat listing for accommodation details (e.g. Wheelchair access). If you have any additional needs which we can help with please call us on 07366456717 or email

  • Please note that our retreats are offered for adults only (+18 years)

  • For group bookings please call us on 07366456717 or email to discuss availability prior to booking 



Booking more than 8 weeks in advance

  • If you are booking more than 8 weeks in advance of your chosen retreat's start date, you have the choice of paying a 30% non-refundable deposit or making payment in full. If you place a 30% deposit to secure your place then the balance is due no less than 8 weeks ahead of the retreat. If full payment has not been received at least 8 weeks ahead of the retreat start date then your place will be forfeited and any monies paid will not be refunded


Booking less than 8 weeks in advance

  • If you are booking less than 8 weeks in advance then payment is required in full at the time of booking


Cancellation by You

  • If you cancel your place more than 8 weeks before the retreat start date then any monies paid minus the non-refundable 30% deposit will be made to you. If you cancel less than 8 weeks before the retreat start date then no refund will be given. We suggest our guests consider taking out travel/holiday insurance


  • We are unable to offer any refund to guests who fail to attend the retreat. If you are unable to attend at short notice please let us know not to expect your arrival

  • We are unable to offer any refund to guests to arrive late and do not participate in the full retreat schedule

Cancellation by Us

  • In the unlikely event that we have to cancel a retreat, then we will tell you immediately and offer a full refund of the booking fee paid or offer a transfer to a future retreat. We are unable to offer compensation for any other costs or expenses incurred. We suggest our guests consider taking out travel/holiday insurance

Changes to Scheduling

  • Our retreats are dependent on workshop tutors and resource availability. Unfortunately staff absence/sickness and supplier issues can occasionally happen. We will do everything we can to offer suitable alternatives for your enjoyment during your retreat. We cannot offer a refund where an alternative craft workshop, deemed suitable and of equal value by us, has been provided. 

  • All scheduled timings on published itineraries are a guide and are subject to change


Use of Facilities

  • Some of our venues offer additional benefits (e.g. swimming pool, hot tub). You are welcome to use these facilities during your stay, but guests use these at their own risk

  • Where on-site parking is available guests accept that they park their vehicles at their own risk 

  • Where WIFI is available guests are expected to use this appropriately and fairly

  • Smoking of any kind, including vaping, is not allowed in any building and is only permitted in designated outside areas

  • Guest dogs are not permitted to join us on our retreats


We hope that you fully enjoy your retreat and that we see you again. We value feedback from all our guests, it’s how we continually improve. We hope that you don’t, but If you feel disappointed in any way about any aspect of your retreat then please highlight this at the time so that all effort can be made to resolve the situation.
